SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to determine the sequence of nucleotides in a patient sample. To do this, luminescent markers are introduced into the sample and their radiation is detected under the influence of pump radiation. Radiation peaks are singled out, and the relevant peaks of luminescent radiation are selected. Moreover, the registration of luminescent radiation of markers is performed with discreteness of recognition of the noise component parameters. Prior to the selection of the relevant luminescent emission peaks, based on the obtained parameters of the noise component, the reliability of each peak is calculated. In this case, the peaks are dropped with a confidence below the threshold. After that, the relevant peaks are selected and the sequence of nucleotides is determined.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the reliability of the method for determining the sequence of nucleotides during electrophoresis.
