SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a composition for reducing the risk of intestinal inflammation in an animal. Use composition to reduce the risk of inflammation of the intestine in an animal, wherein said composition contains beta casein, said beta casein containing at least 50% by weight of beta casein A2. Composition for reducing the risk of inflammation of the intestine in an animal. Use of milk to produce a composition to reduce the risk of inflammation of the intestine in an animal. Method for reducing the risk of intestinal inflammation in an animal, comprising administering to said animal a composition comprising beta casein, or providing said composition for use to said animal, wherein said beta casein contains at least 50% by weight of beta casein A2.
EFFECT: above composition is effective for reducing the risk of intestinal inflammation in an animal.
