FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. Wind power plant contains the tower, the rotary base, the orienting element, the wind wheel, and the generator. Rotary base is provided with the racks with bearings, in which the horizontal shaft is mounted, the generator is placed on the shaft from below, and the bracket with the bearing of the wind wheel shaft is fixed on top, while the axes of the wind wheel and of the generator are perpendicular to the horizontal shaft, and the wind wheel and the generator are equipped with pulleys, which are connected by a flexible transmission.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the weight and dimensions.
