METHOD OF MINIMALLY INVASIVE INTRAUTROBIAL BALLOON OCCLUSION OF FETAL TRACHEA WITH DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA IN FATAL PULMONARY HYPOPLASIA Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61M31/00 A61B17/94

Abstract RU 2669727 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to hernia surgery. Introduction of the fetal balloon into the trachea on a conductor under the supervision of ultrasound. In this case, the operative tube of the fetoscope with the pyramidal obturator of the firm “Storz” is inserted into the fetal cavity of the fetus. Obturator is then removed and, under the control of fetoscopy, this tube is inserted into the fetal trachea using a direct vision optic d-2 mm. Next, the optics are removed and the balloon is inserted onto the conductor. In the conductor, physiological saline is injected, balloon is inflated to 1 cm in diameter, and entrance to the trachea is filled, and after the balloon is installed above the trachea bifurcation, the fetoscope is removed. During the operation, ultrasound control of fetal heart rate and blood flow in the umbilical artery is performed.

EFFECT: method allows performing the operation of balloon occlusion of the fetal trachea less traumatically, avoiding premature discharge of amniotic fluid, placental abruption and severe pain syndrome.
