SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to phlebology, and can be used to treat varicose veins of the lower limbs. Method comprises puncture of the saphenous vein and insertion into the lumen of the vein under ultrasound control of the micropenal form of sodium tetradecyl sulfate and compression of the sclerosing site. Prepare a microfinal form using two syringes connected through a tee for the infusion system, by mixing the sclerosant solution and atmospheric air in a ratio of 1:4. 0.5 % sodium tetradecyl sulfate solution in the amount of 2.0–5.0 ml is introduced into the micro-form. Immediately thereafter, 0.5–1.0 % sodium tetradecyl sulfate solution is added in an amount of 2.0–5.0 ml in liquid form. Course of treatment is 1-2 procedures of combined sclerotherapy with an interval of 1 to 3 months.

EFFECT: method provides reduction in the number of treatment procedures by increasing the volume of sclerosed veins in one procedure with use of a smaller volume of sclerosant in a micro-foam form in combination with the liquid form of the sclerosing agent.
