METHOD FOR OBTAINING SINGLE PACKAGING EPOXY COMPOSITIONS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C09D163/00 C09D163/02 C09J163/00 C08G59/18 B01J13/02

Abstract RU 2669840 C1

FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of epoxy compositions intended primarily for repairing worn surfaces of friction assemblies on railway transport and in other applications of cold-setting adhesives in a fully prepared condition. Epoxy composition is prepared by mixing an epoxy resin with a microencapsulated active amine hardener, accelerator curing – salicylic acid and a filler with antifriction or friction properties, depending on the type of the friction unit. As a microencapsulated hardener, a mixture of the condensation product of formaldehyde, phenol and aliphatic amine (A) and more active with respect to isocyanate groups of aliphatic amine (B) at a certain ratio of them. As the encapsulating component, a technical product, an aromatic polyisocyanate, is used in the preparation of the microencapsulated hardener. Microencapsulation is carried out due to the formation of a shell from the substituted urea during the interaction of polyisocyanate with the aliphatic amine that is part of the amine hardener. Invention provides for the preparation of one-pack epoxy compositions of cold curing (up to -10 °C) for repair of worn surfaces of friction units on railway transport and in other applications of cold-setting adhesives.

EFFECT: invention provides one-pack epoxy cold-curing compositions for repairing worn surfaces of friction units in railway transport and in other applications of cold-setting adhesives.
