SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an aqueous composition for the production of a polymer biodegradable film, including gelatin or starch, or a mixture thereof, a plasticizer, a crosslinking agent, a brewer pellet processing product obtained from heat-treated barley malt with a protein content of at least 50 wt. % with the following component ratio, wt. %: gelatin or starch, or their mixture 4,2-8,7; crosslinking agent 0,2-5,9; brewer pellet processing product 3-65; plasticizer 10,7-14,6; water the rest.

EFFECT: present invention provides for the production of a polymer biodegradable film containing a natural organic filler: the product of processing brewer pellets released during the decomposition of the film under the influence of environmental factors (moisture, UV radiation, soil acidity, processing by microorganisms), characterized by a complex of deformation and strength parameters, is comparable to the indicators of polymer non-biodegradable films based on polyethylene and polypropylene (film strength 30-40 MPa, stretching 150-250%) while simplifying its obtaining, which expands the range of applications of this film, including the possibility of its use in germination of seeds and plants on large areas and in low-nutrient soils.
