SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of the pharmaceutical industry, namely, to the film coating of medicinal formulations, containing bioactive substances, comprising 33–40 % by weight of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) having a viscosity of at least 15 cPs, 11–14 % by weight of propylene glycol, 9–32 % by weight of starch hydrolysis product with dextrose equivalent (DE) from 15 to 29, 23–37 % by weight of technical additives; to a film suspension for forming said film coating which comprises 5–8 % by weight of HPMC with a viscosity of at least 15 cPs, 1.7–2.8 % by weight of propylene glycol, 1.8–4.8 % by weight of the hydrolysis product of starch with DE from 15 to 29, 80–85 % by weight of purified water and technical additives (the rest); as well as to a method for producing said film coating.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides strengthened barrier properties of a covering and increased mechanical durability at simultaneous preservation of bioavailability of active substances, increased shelf life of the coating, improved processability of the coating process.
