FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering, and more particularly to the clutch of vehicle transmissions. Double clutch contains multi-plate friction clutches (2 and 3) with discs (4-6) and (9-11) having hydraulic control by means of pistons (27 and 43) located between chambers of hydraulic cylinders (29 and 45). Clutch housing (1) comprises hub (13) together with which side wall (17) of body (1) is formed where protrusions (18 and 19) are located. Rim (21) is connected to flange (25) of drive shaft (7), with which disks (4-6) are engaged. Piston (27) of clutch (2) with discs (4–6) is mounted on lip (18), piston (43) of clutch (3) with disks (9–11) is located on hub (13) of body (1). Chamber (31) located between piston (27) and rim (21) is located on one side of piston (27) of coupling (2), and chamber (32), closed by lid (34), is located on the other side. Chamber (47) located between piston (43) and wall (17) of housing (1) is located on one side of piston (43) of coupling (3), and chamber (48) closed by cover (50) is located on the other side. On piston (27) of coupling (2) and in cover (34) of its chamber (32), annular grooves are made where sealing elements are installed.
EFFECT: expansion of the application field is achieved.
