Airbag assembly includes inner and outer panels that are coupled to define a cavity therebetween, an inflatable member disposed within the cavity, and at least one reinforcing band disposed within at least the inner panel. Reinforcing band includes a plurality of glass fibres, and each of the plurality of glass fibres includes a coating layer.
EFFECT: increased reliability is provided.
