FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to transport machine building. Side door system with a drive for the vehicle contains a side door, a presence detector for determining the presence of a person next to the side door, a controller, a lock and an actuator for moving the side door. Side door is connected to the body of the vehicle. Controller is configured to control the operation of the actuator based on the presence detector signal. Lock is in the engaged position for securing the side door in the closed position and in the disengaged position to unlock the side door for opening. Vehicle comprises said side door system with a drive.
EFFECT: convenience is achieved using the side door of the vehicle.
