FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: dichroic light polarizer has at least one polarizing coat that presents oriented molecularly ordered layer formed on base on one organic salt as minimum of dichroic anion dye of given general formula. Polarizer can have several polarizing coats applied one to another each carrying several fragments of unspecified form which may differ in color and direction of polarization vector. Color and direction of polarization vector may not coincide. Invention provides for design of effective fault-free polarizers with different thickness not exceeding 5%.
