FIELD: optics, manufacture of polarization films and glasses. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant to design high-efficiency defect-free optical polarizer based on homogeneous polarizing coats displaying low electric conductivity ( less than 10-10om-1cm-1 ). Formulated problem is solved thanks to usage of one anisotropically absorbing birefrigent layer as minimum formed from associates of dichroic pigments carrying ionogenic groups or their mixtures with at least one mole of surface-active ions or their mixtures in the capacity of one polarizing coat as minimum.
