FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vertical rotor of the wind and water engine comprises: a hub, which includes the fixing points of the spokes from the composition of the spoke sets mentioned below, a connecting piece or fragments, connecting the attachment points between each other, at least two vertically elongated blades, at least two spoke sets consisting of two or more spokes with a wing profile connecting the specified hub with the specified vertical blades. Slip angle of said blades takes values from 20° to 45°.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the efficiency of using the kinetic energy of wind or water flow or other incompressible fluid by increasing the efficiency of its conversion into the kinetic energy of the engine rotational motion of wind or hydropower plant.
