FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, anesthesiology and pediatrics. Double bolus induction with sevoflurane is carried out after the first bolus induction with sevoflurane at a concentration of 6.0 % by volume with oxygen flow of 3 l/min and nitrous oxide 4 l/min, providing preconditioning of the myocardium and leading to a child falling asleep. Supply of sevoflurane is stopped and the circuit of the anesthetic apparatus is flushed with 100 % oxygen, while the child continues to breathe through the circuit of the anesthesia apparatus using auxiliary mask ventilation for 3–4 minutes. Repeated bolus induction with sevoflurane is carried out with a fully open anesthetic evaporator and previous flows of oxygen and nitrous oxide, begin at the time of termination of the contraction of the heart rate of the child and the beginning of an increase in heart rate by 2–3 beats per minute in combination with a decrease in the concentration of sevoflurane on the exhalation from 0.2 to 0.4 % by volume.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce by 3 times the frequency of occurrence of arousal, to prevent bradycardia during induction into anesthesia.
