SUBSTANCE: described is a vascular prosthesis of a tubular fabric structure, the prosthesis comprising an inner layer intended to contact the blood stream; the inner layer is formed from main and weft yarn and has a cover factor of 1800 or more; each of the main and weft yarn comprises microfibre multifilament yarns with a monofilament fineness of 0.50 dtex or less, wherein the multifilament yarns comprise microfibre monofilaments with an average intersection angle S of monofilaments of less than 25°.

EFFECT: vascular prosthesis is highly effective in promoting its colonisation by adhesive vascular endothelial cells.
