FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of metals by pressure, in particular to the stamping of hat-shaped articles. Stamped product comprises a pair of flat portions and a radiused portion that connects the flat portions. Metal plate is manufactured with a tensile strength of 590 MPa or more. In the first molding step, an intermediate molded product with a curved portion is formed. In a second step, a portion of the curved portion of the intermediate molded product is formed to form a curved portion of the formed article. In this case, the stamped article is manufactured on a line comprising a first pressing device for producing an intermediate molded product and a second press device for forming a stamped product.
EFFECT: improves the quality of the products by suppressing the cracking of the outer surface of its curved section.
