FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: inventions of the claimed group relate to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used for the manufacture of a stamped component. At the first step of processing of a workpiece by pressure in the mold, an intermediate molded component containing the upper plate element is obtained, crest lines on ends of upper plate element in direction of short side and vertical walls facing each other in state, in which they pass from corresponding crest lines, and curvilinear wall. On the second step in the mold from the intermediate molded component the stamped component with reduced width of projection of the ledge is produced.
EFFECT: spring is reduced and the shape of the finished component is improved.
