FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means for transmitting information in a well along a hydroimpulse communication channel. In particular, a hydropulse generator comprising a housing, forming a fluid channel passing through it; a valve device located within the fluid channel, while the valve device comprises a plurality of rollers, each roller being rotatable around a respective longitudinal axis, which passes through at least a portion of the cross section of the fluid channel. Rollers together overlap at least a portion of the cross-sectional area of the fluid channel, and the overlapped portion changes when the rotational positions of the rollers change.
EFFECT: technical result is the expansion of the arsenal of technical facilities for the downhole hydropulse communication channel.
