SILICONE ACRYLAMIDE COPOLYMER Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C08F222/38 C08F230/08

Abstract RU 2671866 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to copolymers and to a material for a medical device made of such a copolymer. Said copolymer is prepared by a polymerization reaction of a multifunctional (meth)acrylamide monomer having no silicon atoms (A) and a monofunctional silicone (meth)acrylamide monomer (B). Component (A) has at least two (meth)acrylamide groups and at least one organic group connecting any two of the (meth)acrylamide groups in the multifunctional (meth)acrylamide monomer. In this case, the organic group has the shortest chain length of any organic group connecting any two (meth)acrylamide groups. Said organic group contains from 4 to 20 carbon atoms when each nitrogen atom of (meth)acrylamide groups has at least one hydrogen atom that is directly bonded to each nitrogen atom in the (meth)acrylamide group. Or the organic group contains from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, when at least one nitrogen atom of any (meth)acrylamide groups does not have a directly attached hydrogen atom. Said medical device material made from the above copolymer is an ophthalmic lens, an endoscope, a catheter, a blood transfusion tube, a gas supply tube, a stent, a protective cover, a cuff, a tube connector, an access port, a drain bag, a blood loop, a wound closure material, and a carrier of a medication.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a copolymer with high composition stability and high mechanical properties.
