FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: use for pumping repetitively pulsed lasers on self-limited transitions of metal atoms. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the excitation pulse generator contains a charger connected by the first output to the storage capacitor, and second to the common bus of the device, a switch consisting of a power transistor and a modulator lamp connected by an AC control grid through the filter capacity of the grid to the common bus of the device, a discharge tube, an auxiliary power source that generates voltages for the grids and heat of the modulator lamp and a control system connected to the gate of the power transistor.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of increasing the pulse repetition frequency of lasers, as well as the implementation of the partial discharge of storage capacity.
