FIELD: paint industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for coating metallic surfaces in the automotive industry, construction, in the manufacture of electrical appliances and household appliances. Coating on metallic surfaces is applied by means of an aqueous composition containing an aqueous solution of a zinc salt, by flooding, spraying and/or immersion. On the metallic surface, an anticorrosive nanocrystalline layer of zinc oxide is formed. Initial temperature of the metallic surface during spraying is in the range from 40 to 400 °C. Initial temperature of the metallic surface during immersion is in the range of 5 to 400 °C. Initial temperature of the metallic surface during flooding is in the range of from 100 to 400 °C. When flooding or spraying, the metallic surface is shock cooled by contact with the aqueous composition. Substrate temperature is greater than the temperature of the aqueous composition for at least 30 °C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to apply coatings with high corrosion resistance and high adhesion to subsequent paintwork onto metallic surfaces.
