FIELD: navigation systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to the route determining means from the starting point to the destination. Route searching device comprises memory device for the map information storage, including on the traffic lanes on each of the roads; position acquisition module determining the vehicle current position; destination assignment module; traffic information for each of the lanes obtaining module; possible route extraction module to determine the cost of travel and routes selection based on the predetermined condition, where travel costs are equal to or less than the predetermined threshold value; and the trip route determination module configured to calculate the trip costs for each of the possible routes based on the traffic information taking into account the lanes. At that, the possible route extraction module retrieves the route with the shortest distance, route with the shortest required time, excluding traffic information and route with the shortest required time, taking into account traffic information as possible routes with the predetermined condition based on the based on the roads travel costs. This device also implements the corresponding route searching method.

EFFECT: said group of inventions can improve the optimal route searching efficiency and accuracy.
