FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to means of controlling movement along a certain route. Module for controlling movement along the route includes the following: detection module (10, 20) configured to detect the position of the vehicle in question; guide module (64) configured to provide movement control along the movement path, when the distance from the position of the considered vehicle detected by detection module (10, 20) to the branch point on the route of movement reaches a predetermined distance; and accuracy determining module (63) configured to determine the degree of accuracy of the position of the vehicle in question, wherein when the accuracy determining module (63) determines that the position accuracy degree is a predetermined threshold value or less, guide module (64) provides control of motion along route of movement in point before distance from position of considered vehicle to branch point reaches predetermined distance. Said device also implements corresponding motion control method.

EFFECT: this group of inventions makes it possible to organize traffic control, allowing the direction of the considered vehicle in the proper lane for movement, when the position of the considered vehicle is uncertain.
