SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to driving controls. Proposed method of driving control consists in the following: when calculating the route from the current position of vehicle V1 to the destination by referring to map information 300, including the first MP1 map with lane identification information and the second MP2 map without lane identification information, calculating a route so as to achieve a prescribed relationship between first costs for driving on first route RT1 on first map MP1 and second costs for movement on second route RT2 on second map MP2; creation of driving plan for vehicle V1, which should be adhered to when driving along said route; and instructing vehicle controller 70 to execute driving plan. Also, two additional embodiments of said control method are realized, as well as three embodiments of equipment for implementation of these control methods.
EFFECT: proposed group of inventions is aimed at implementation of driving control in accordance with accuracy of cartographic information.
