FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of hydroformylation of olefins, in which CO, H2 is contacted and at least one olefin in the presence of a hydroformylation catalyst in a reaction fluid in at least one reactor under hydroformylation conditions sufficient to form at least one aldehyde product, the flow of the reaction fluid is removed from at least one reactor and the flow is passed to the heat exchanger, some heat is removed from the flow to form a cooled flow and the cooled flow is returned to the reactor. Flow rate at least part of at least one of this flow and/or cooled flow is regulated to regulate the temperature in the reactor, and the temperature of the stationary state of the reaction is controlled within +/-1 °C from a given value.

EFFECT: proposed method allows to ensure stable operation of the hydroformylation reactor.
