SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to veterinary medicine and is intended for the treatment of intestinal diseases in birds and pigs. Composition used contains smectite clay; yeast, yeast mannan, yeast mannan oligosaccharide, yeast beta-glucan or a component of the yeast cell wall and glutamate. Composition is administered in an amount of from 100 to 1,000 mg per kg of body weight per day (mg/kg/day) or is present in the feed in an amount ranging from 0.05 % (w/w) to 0.50 % (w/w) feed.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to improve the function of the gastrointestinal tract in birds and pigs susceptible to bowel disease.
