FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the preparation of polyetheretherketone. Method for producing polyetheretherketone by nucleophilic polycondensation of substantially equimolar amounts of hydroquinone and difluorobenzophenone in a diphenyl sulfone medium is described in the presence of a mixture of sodium and potassium carbonates with a gradual increase in temperature to 320±5 °C, including the stage of precipitation and simultaneous wet grinding, two-stage washing with repeatedly heated solvent and deionized water at a temperature of about 95 °C, filtration and drying in a stirring suction filter, characterized in that sodium carbonate and potassium carbonate are used in a molar ratio of potassium carbonate and sodium carbonate of 1.0:(0.20–0.25), respectively; temperature increase is carried out in four stages with heating up to 220±5 °C for 30 minutes and holding at this temperature for 30 minutes in the first stage, with heating in 30 minutes to 270±5 °C and holding for 45 minutes in the second stage, with heating to 290±5 °C for 50 minutes in the third stage and final heating to 320±5 °C for 30 minutes with an exposure from 30 minutes to 180 minutes depending on the set value of the melt flow rate with obtaining the reaction mass, which, in the molten state, is sent to the flow disperser, into which simultaneously perchloroethylene heated to 85±5 °C is fed from the additional reactor, followed by sending the resulting suspension of the reaction mass to the reactor with its repeated return to the dispersant and back, after which the suspension is sent to the suction filter for maintaining at 105±5 °C for 1 hour, filtering, two-stage washing of the polymer with a solvent – perchloroethylene with a temperature of 105±5 °C and water.

EFFECT: obtaining high-purity fine-grained powdered polyetheretherketone using simplified technology while reducing the overall duration of the process.
