SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to progressing cavity pump system with fluid coupling. System comprising a motor and a progressive cavity pump. Screw pump has a rotor, a stator and a fluid coupling. Fluid coupling connects the motor to progressive cavity pump. Fluid coupling contains an input turbine and an output turbine. These turbines are disposed within a housing. Motor is connected to the input turbine of the fluid coupling. Rotor of the progressing cavity pump is connected to the output turbine of the fluid coupling to enable the progressing cavity pump to be operated by the motor via the fluid coupling to pump fluid through the progressing cavity pump. There is a container with progressing fluid coupling system and an auxiliary pump. This pump is hydraulically connected to the reservoir and to fluid coupling for feeding progressing fluid of the system from the vessel to the fluid coupling. There is a sensor configured to measure turbine rotation speed and a controller that is configured to control the operation of the auxiliary pump based on the measured rotational speed to provide alteration in the speed of rotation of the turbine wheel.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in reliability of progressing cavity pumps.
