SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a frozen confection composition with a total carbohydrate content not exceeding 29 wt. % relative to the total composition. In the composition, the added sugar is provided mainly by the combination of sucrose and glucose syrup. Content of added sugar ranges from 8.4 to 10.8 wt. % relative to the total composition. Frozen composition has a total solids content of more than 17 wt. % relative to the total weight of the composition.
EFFECT: invention provides acceptable consumer sweetness of the frozen confection product with a low carbohydrate content and at the same time a good texture of the product.
