Method includes the direction with a given speed of the striking element on a multi-layered armored barrier, which is a textile armor material, the layers of which consist of fibers, the registration of the temperature field Tan(x, y) of the textile armor material surface after interacting with the striking element, determination based on the analysis of the temperature field Tan(x, y) of absorption energy of textile armor. According to the invention, force loading of the fibers of textile material is carried out, in the process of loading, a deformation diagram of the said fibers is constructed, the rate of deformation of the fibers is measured, the dynamic temperature field is measured at several points along the length of the fibers, and the ambient temperature is measured. After interacting with the damaging element, the energy released as heat on the surface of the textile armor material is determined, and the absorption energy of the textile armor material is determined by an obstacle. For implementing the method, a device for thermal control of energy absorption of a striking element using a multi-layer armored barrier is used.

EFFECT: increased informativeness and reliability of the results of control of textile composite armor barriers.
