FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-destructive testing and can be used for the inspection of electrically conductive objects using the penetrant inspection method. Proposed is a method for capillary defectoscopy, which consists in performing operations on surface preparation, drying, applying a penetrant, impregnating a controlled object with the penetrant, removing any excess penetrant, as well as the application of the developer with simultaneous or subsequent heating of the controlled object when performing one or more operations. At the same time, in order to heat electrically conducting objects, their controlled area is affected by an alternating magnetic field, which induces eddy currents in it.
EFFECT: expansion of the field of application of inspection by ensuring the possibility of application at negative temperatures and temperatures close to such.
