FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of an aqueous multistage polymer dispersion obtained by radically-initiated aqueous emulsion polymerisation, comprising a soft and a hard phase with a hard phase to soft phase ratio of 25–95 wt. % to 75–5 wt. %, wherein the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the soft phase obtained in the first stage ranges from -30 to 0 °C and the hard phase obtained at the second stage, from 20 to 60 °C, and containing units of at least one monomer of general formula (I), in which n is a number from 0 to 2, R1, R2, R3 independently of one another denote hydrogen or a methyl group, X denotes oxygen or NH, and Y denotes hydrogen, alkali metal or NH4+, for coating profiled metal roofing elements. Also described is a metal sheet, which is a profiled metal roofing element, a method of applying a coating on profiled metal sheets, including using a granulate.
.
EFFECT: technical result is providing higher adhesion to profiled metal roofing elements and less sensitivity to mechanical stress at high temperatures, as well as elasticity when bending at an angle of up to 180 0C at low temperatures.
