FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: continuous crystalliser for flake ice producing contains a base, a product bath, stuffing boxes, a drum axis, a driving device, a drum the inner volume of which is filled with a wavy polymetallic ribbon of variable thickness twisted into a spiral. The crystallizer is provided with a flexible tape, contacting the outer surface of the drum, an auxiliary shaft, a scraper for removing ice residues from the flexible tape and an ice tray. The edges of the drum and the auxiliary shaft have protrusions to prevent the flexible tape from falling off.
EFFECT: improving of the quality of the resulting ice due to its uniform supercooling, reducing energy costs for removing the ice layer.
