FIELD: nuclear energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power and can be used for the movement and storage of radioactive materials mainly in the composition of transport packaging kits (TPK). Container body for moving and storing radioactive materials includes the body, cast from high-strength nodular cast iron, stainless steel lining the end surface of the housing for the installation of covers, internal glass. Inner cup is made in the form of a shell fixed in the housing due to the shrinkage of high-strength cast iron melt with spherical graphite in the process of its crystallization in the manufacture of body casting, and welded to the bottom shell. Shell and bottom are made of ferritic stainless steel with a chromium content of at least 13 %.
EFFECT: invention allows to provide high manufacturability of the structure by reducing the complexity of the work and reducing the time to manufacture.
