FIELD: training simulators; sport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to training devices, namely, devices designed to train the upper limbs, and can be used for the rehabilitation of the shoulder and elbow joints, wrists and associated muscles. Device for training the upper limbs contains a base on which a telescopic stand is vertically fixed with a latch of the position of its movable upper part relative to the fixed lower one. Through the movable part of the telescopic rack the first horizontal shaft is skipped mounted on rolling bearings. Gear wheel is attached to one end of the first shaft, and a steering wheel is attached to the other end of the shaft, perpendicular to which a handle is attached with the possibility of holding it by gripping the hand and rotating it along with the shaft of the steering wheel. Above, parallel to the first shaft, a second shaft mounted on rolling bearings is passed through the movable part of the telescopic strut. Second smaller gear is attached to one end of the second shaft so that it engages with the first large gear, forming a cylindrical gear transmission with a gear ratio of 5–10. At the other end of the second shaft, a disk is attached to which the image of the Benham disk is applied. Gears are covered with a protective cover attached to the movable part of the telescopic rack.

EFFECT: device allows the patient to independently control the degree of intensity of the load of the upper limbs during the training session by changing the color of the Benham disk.
