FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental cardiology. To simulate chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTPH), embolizing particles in the form of autologous blood clots are intravenously injected into the rat, encapsulated in alginate microcapsules with a diameter of 130–400 mcm with a ratio by volume of blood clots and sodium alginate from 1:7 to 1:3 in an amount of 200–250 mcl of microcapsules at least 4 times with an interval of at least 2 days.
EFFECT: this method allows the most complete reproduction of pathogenetic processes during the formation of CTPH, ensuring in laboratory animals pathophysiological and structural changes in the pulmonary vascular bed corresponding to CTPH.
