SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicles. Hybrid vehicle's drive control device contains an electronic control unit that controls the disengagement and engagement of the engagement device. Control unit controls the output torque of the first and second rotating machines based on the engine output torque and the transmission torque of the engagement gear on the shift side. Control unit sets the transmission torque of the gearing device on the shift side based on the engine power, the power required to switch the differential mechanism and the step transmission, and the power of the battery device so that the output torque of the first rotating machine and the output torque of the second rotating machine are prevented.
EFFECT: improved transmission performance.
