FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: device and method for continuous hydrolysis of biomass is proposed. Device includes a centrifugal feed pump, an upstream reactor for preliminary hydrolysis, a hydrolysis reactor, a supply pipeline between the pump and the preliminary hydrolysis reactor, a mixing device and a device for recycling partially hydrolyzed biomass. Method involves mixing fresh biomass with substances necessary for hydrolysis, recycling partially hydrolyzed biomass for mixing with a mixture of substances necessary for hydrolysis and fresh biomass, feeding and promotion of biomass in the preliminary hydrolysis reactor in the upstream direction and the selection of partially hydrolyzed biomass from the preliminary hydrolysis reactor in the hydrolysis reactor.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in energy costs when carrying out continuous hydrolysis in the mode of ideal displacement.
