FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing synthesis gas, which can be used in the chemical industry for the production of methanol, dimethyl ether, synthetic liquid hydrocarbons and other products. Method involves burning a mixture of hydrocarbons with an oxidizing agent with an oxidizer excess ratio of less than 1, carried out inside the cavity, fully or partially formed by the bulk matrix, permeable to the gas mixture with the oxidant, while water vapor is pre-mixed into the reaction mixture, heated to a temperature of 400–600 K, in an amount of from 30 to 100 % by volume of the hydrocarbon feedstock.
EFFECT: invention provides a deeper conversion of the initial hydrocarbon feedstock, a stable temperature conversion regime and low soot formation.
