FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining, in particular, to two-stage methods of producing high-octane gasoline fractions and aromatic hydrocarbons C6-C10 using the gasoline fractions reforming process. At the first stage of the process, gasoline fractions are reformed by contacting the feed in the presence of a hydrogen-containing gas at pressure of 0.3–4.0 MPa and temperature of 440–550 °C with metal oxide reforming catalyst containing aluminum oxide, platinum or mixture of platinum and a promoter. At the second stage, the reaction mixture obtained at the first stage together with the additionally supplied raw material is subjected to contacting at temperature of 340–500 °C with a catalyst comprising a ZSM-5 (MFI) or ZSM-11 (MEL) zeolite structure, optionally with metals of II, III, IV, VI, VII and VIII groups of the periodic table of elements. As the additional raw material at the second stage hydrocarbon fractions boiling out in range of boiling points of petrol-and-volatile fractions, and / or oxygen-containing compounds of class of alcohols and / or ethers are used.
