FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, namely, to methods for increasing output torque in internal combustion engines. Method of controlling engine (10) comprising cylinder (14) with four valves (150, 156) includes a step of, at which during first mode from intake manifold (146) to exhaust manifold (148) through first inlet valve (150) and located on diagonal with it first outlet valve (156), controlled with positive overlapping, blowing air flow is passed, which exceeds flow passing through the second inlet valve (150) and located on the diagonal with it the second exhaust valve (156) of cylinder (14) controlled with negative overlapping. First outlet valve (156) and the second outlet valve (156) have different phases of gas distribution. Also disclosed is version of engine control method.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing engine torque and, consequently, reducing fuel consumption.
