Solid cosmetic product includes: (I) an inner non-effervescent material comprising a colouring and a solid carrier material, and not effervescing on contact with water; (II) an outer effervescent material which effervesces on contact with water, wherein the outer effervescent material envelops the inner non-effervescent material. Method for producing a cosmetic product is also provided.
