SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technology and can be used for placement in the cockpit of an aircraft. For this purpose, the device contains: an antenna unit configured to transmit and receive communication data in the first frequency band of the communication network and receive localization data in the second frequency band of the localization network, however, the specified antenna unit contains an antenna with a circular radiation pattern around the main axis, and its radiation is maximum in the direction of this main axis, and a radiation restriction system adapted to limit radiation beyond the specified axis of the antenna; a modem connected to the antenna and configured to provide transmission and reception of communication data via a communication network; localization data receiver.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of communication.
