FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology, namely to a device for stitching tissue. Device for stitching tissue contains an end effector, a hinge joint and a blocking element. End effector is arranged to rotate from the first position to the second position. Articulation is associated with an end effector, the articulation is made with the possibility of rotation of the end effector from the first position to the second position. Blocking element is connected to the articulation, the blocking element is arranged to move from the proximal position to the distal position. Locking element is configured to lock the hinge joint when the locking element is in the distal position. Locking element contains a locking slide, a locking rod, distally connected with the blocking slide, and at least one elastic element configured to bias the blocking rod. Elastic element is adapted to engage with a blocking slide, when the blocking slide is in a distal position, to prevent the elastic element from bending in such a way that the articulation is blocked by a locking rod.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by a blocking slide, which prevents articulated rotation of the end effector when the end effector jaws are closed to prevent the end effector from accidentally moving during stapling.
