SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a metal lid for a container body, in particular for a container such as a tin can, wherein the lid contains removable part (4) bounded by line (5) at the beginning of a break and equipped with opening means (6). Line (5) of the beginning of the gap contains two input sections (55) and output section (56), made on both sides of virtual axis (10). Each input section (55) of line (5) at the beginning of the break contains second segment (552), having a residual thickness (E2) exceeding the residual thickness (E1), and second segment (552) extends at least 20 % of the length (L) of said inlet section (55) and comprises outlet end (5522) formed inside said inlet section (55).

EFFECT: developed a new structure of easy opening metal cover, that makes it possible, no longer to punctually block the opening during the tearing of the upstream portions of the scoreline, but to progressively control the energy used for this tearing.
