FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to resuscitation and toxicology, psychiatry, and can be used for treating exogenous intoxications complicated by intoxication psychosis. It involves local craniocerebral hypothermia for 2 hours in the evening every day for 5 days.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications, preventing life-threatening complications due to long-term presence of the patient in a state of intoxication psychosis, reducing the length of stay in the intensive care unit, reduced use of sedatives, traditionally used in the treatment regimens of intoxication psychosis, due to the proposed mode of craniocerebral hypothermia.
