FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transformable space sections (TSS) of habitable modules. TSS includes a body made of sliding hollow elements (SHE) with devices for fixing the position of these elements in each other, one docking station with another object and a transformable inflatable casing (TIC), the opposite sides of which are fixed on the SHE. Internal cavity of TIC is connected by means of pipelines with a source of compressed gas placed inside and/or outside the TSS. SHE is equipped with at least one guiding device for their mutual movement and are equipped with a device for damping the speed of movement of the sliding hollow elements, which is fixed on one of the ends of the SHE between the outer surface of one SHE and the inner surface of another SHE.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the internal working space in the working configuration of the TSS, reduce the loads during opening, increase reliability.
