FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport engineering. In the first embodiment, a tailgate of a pickup body includes an outer panel, an inner panel attached to the outer panel, transversely extending reinforcing elements, a locking bracket and a reinforcing element of a handle. Transversely reinforcing element comprises a U-shaped body having a rounded surface between the upper and lower parts having flanges. Locking bracket is attached to the top of the reinforcing element that supports a locking assembly. Lower end of the reinforcing element of the handle is attached to the locking bracket, and the upper end to the outer panel. In the second variant, a tailgate of a pickup body contains an inner panel forming an access opening, an access cover and fasteners. Access cover has upper and lower rims formed on the flanges. Fasteners are inserted into the fastening holes to attach the access cover to the inner panel.
EFFECT: improved reliability of the pickup tailgate is achieved.
