FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: egg package contains a base with cells and a lid associated with it, lid fixing elements in the closed position and vertical stiffening elements. Elements of vertical stiffness include separating protrusions located between the cells of the base, which interact with their vertices with the inner surface of the cover when the package is closed. Lid is provided with intersecting stiffening ribs in the form of linear depressions, which are made outside on the upper surface of the cover and form embossed protuberances on its inner side. Places of intersection of the stiffeners are located with the closed package above the separating protrusions, on the tops of which recesses of the cruciform shape are made, corresponding to the relief bulges at the intersections of the stiffeners.
EFFECT: invention provides increased stiffness and load capacity, reliability of the packaging and safety of the placed eggs.
